Complete an in-person check-in

In-person check-in using the app on your mobile or tablet

First, you will need to log in to the Check-in Scan app using your username and password. Once inside, click on the “Start Check-in” button to begin the process.

On the next screen, you will need to select the city, property, check-in date, and check-out date for the check-in you want to register. Once you have completed this information, you can continue by clicking the blue “Next” button.

Next, you must indicate whether there are minors included in the reservation. Once this selection is confirmed, it cannot be modified.

Then, you will need to enter the reservation details:

  • Contract reference. You can enter the booking reference, the main guest’s ID number, or any unique identifier for the reservation.

  • Contract date. The date on which the contract was formalized or the reservation was made.

  • Payment method. You can select from the dropdown: cash, credit card, payment platform, bank transfer, or others.

Note: If you have enabled automation for the SES Hospedajes contract fields in your account, these fields may not be visible or editable during the check-in process. You can learn how to configure this by clicking the button below:

You can then choose to scan the guest’s identity document or fill in the details manually.

If you select the scan option, use your mobile phone or tablet camera to capture the MRZ code (a set of alphanumeric characters usually found on the back of an ID document or passport). Place the document within the frame shown on the screen, and once the app reads the data, it will automatically move to the next step.

Our app will automatically read the scanned document and populate the form with as much information as possible. However, due to new regulatory requirements, some data may not be present on the ID document. Any empty fields must be completed manually. After signing, click “Next.”

On the next screen, you will see a summary of the guests you are about to register in the property.

You can either Add another guest or Finalize check-in.
