Protect your Check-in Scan account by enabling two-factor authentication, an additional security measure that adds an extra step to the login process.
Follow the instructions below to activate this feature.
Access your account’s web control panel and log in using your username and password.
Once logged in, go to My Account > Profile and select the Two-Step Verification tab.
Enter the password you normally use to access Check-in Scan and click Continue.
Open an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
Once you have scanned the QR code, the app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code in the fields to the right of the QR code.
Next, click Enable Two-Step Verification.
Once the feature is activated, a list of 8 recovery codes will appear.
We recommend copying these codes and storing them in a safe place. They will help you regain access to your account if you lose the device on which your authentication app is installed.
After saving the codes, tick the confirmation checkbox and click Continue.
That's it! Two-factor authentication is now enabled on your account.
From now on, whenever you sign in to Check-in Scan, you will need to enter the 6-digit code generated by your authentication app after entering your usual username and password.
If you prefer not to enter this code every time you sign in, you can tick the indicated checkbox to have the system request it every 30 days instead of at every login.
This adds an extra layer of security to your account and helps keep your access protected.
