How to correctly fill out the contract linked to your check-in

A quick guide to understanding the reference, contract date, and payment type for your stay.

According to the current regulations of the Ministry of the Interior for the registration of travelers in tourist accommodations (Royal Decree 933/2021), it is mandatory that each check-in be associated with a contract containing 3 basic pieces of information.

Below, we explain in detail what each field means so you can complete it correctly:

🔹 Reference

This field is used to uniquely identify your booking. It can be completed in different ways:

  • The accommodation may have provided you with a specific reference or booking locator number.

  • Otherwise, you may enter the ID card or passport number of the main guest.

🔹 Contract or Booking Date

Here you should indicate either the date the booking was made or the check-in date at the accommodation.

🔹 Payment Type

This field refers to the payment method used for your stay. In the dropdown menu, you can select from several options:

  • Cash

  • Credit card

  • Payment platform (for bookings made through Airbnb, Booking, etc.)

  • Bank transfer

  • Other
