At Check-in Scan, we aim to make guest self check-in easier, and for that we offer several options:
Reservation link: A unique link is generated for each reservation created on our platform.
QR code: A QR code that guests will find upon arrival at the property to complete check-in.
Generic link: A single link associated with your property that can be used for all bookings and check-ins, as it is not tied to any check-in or check-out dates. Here’s how to generate it:

Log in to your account from the Web Dashboard by clicking Log in on our homepage.
Use your email address and the password you created for Check-in Scan. Go to the Properties tab and click Edit next to the property for which you want to create the generic link.
Next, you will find a blue button to generate your property’s unique link.
It is instant. From that moment on, you will have a unique link for your property, which you can share with your guests via your usual messaging system.

Remember that this generic link does not include check-in or check-out dates. When guests receive it, they will need to enter both dates before completing the check-in.
NOTE: If you manage a rural house, hostel, hotel, or hostel, you can also create a unique link for each room/bed. To do so, go to the Rooms tab and click the Generate unique link button for each room you have added.
You will have them immediately available and can copy them by clicking the copy icon.
