Integrating the Bookster and Check-in Scan systems allows you to import valuable guest information into the system to avoid manual data entry.
With this integration, you can import your properties and rooms from Bookster, reservations, guest names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
Go to your Bookster account to copy your API Key.
Log in to your Bookster account using your credentials. You can find the direct link in the footer of the website.
Enter your account details.
Click on "Account" in the upper right corner, and in the left-hand menu, click on "API Key."
You will be able to generate your API Key, which you'll need to copy and paste into the Check-in Scan control panel.
Now, go to the Check-in Scan system and paste it there:
1) Visit your web panel at http://app.checkinscan.com.
2) In the upper right corner, go to "My account" and select "Integrate PMS."
3) Click on the Bookster icon.
4) Paste the Account ID and API Key that you previously copied from the Bookster system into the respective fields.
5) Click "Next".
The system will give you the option to choose which properties you want to import from Bookster. If you've already added them to Check-in Scan previously, you can also match them to stay connected.
Once you've linked the properties, simply click "Save and continue" to add the properties. Click "Finish" to complete the process.
To finish, you'll need to go back to the top menu "Properties" -> "My properties," activate the new properties, and edit any remaining fields that need to be completed.
