We are delighted to announce that Awaze has entered into a partnership with Check-in Scan so that you can easily register guests and enjoy instant legal compliance.
This means that for a nominal cost of €1 per property for the first year as an introductory offer from Awaze (IVA/VAT inclusive), you will be able to use the Check-in Scan platform, normally charged at €39.95.
How does it work?
Once you connect your Awaze account with Check-in Scan, the reservations will be pushed to your Check-in Scan account and the process of guest registration will happen automatically.
This document will provide you with some instructions on how to get everything up and running. If you have any questions, you can contact Check-in Scan support via the chat bubble on the Check-in Scan website.
Important: You will have been sent a coupon code by your contact at James Villas that will allow you to sign up to Check-in Scan after your 14 day free trial and enjoy the service for €1 per year per property for the first year, VAT/IVA inclusive.
Let's get started
In order to proceed, you will need to have your Awaze login to hand. It's important that you have your property code handy which can be found on your Awaze contract and typically is in the format of 3 letters followed by 3 numbers.
Here are the steps you need to follow to get everything connected:
Create your Check-in Scan account.
Click here and enter your details. The password needs to be secure, we recommend using an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol. It needs to be 8 digits long.
Add your property(s): Once you have registered, you will need to add your property. Important: You need to enter your property code in the red box below.
Confirm your email address:
You will have received an email from Check-in Scan. Please follow instructions in email to confirm your email address. Ideally, please use the same email address as used with the James Villas / Awaze business.
Generate the API key: Once you have added your property, you need to generate the API key. You can do this by visiting this page, just click this link
Copy the API key by clicking the green button that says Copy.
Last important step - please send your Check-in Scan API key to Awaze via this form
You need to complete this form on this link
Once again, you need to use your property code used in the reference field in Check-in Scan as above to connect and synchronise everything. Please complete this form for as many properties as you have in your Check-in Scan account. Almost there!

Due to the delicate nature of syncing the data between Awaze and Check-in Scan, please allow a few days for this to take place.
How will I know it's all working?
Visit this page. If you see reservations in your Check-in Scan account, similar to the image below, you are all set!

Everything works out of the box. After your 14 day free trial, click on the green buy subscription button and use your coupon code to take advantage of the fantastic first year offer that has been provided to you by Awaze.
