Integrating Planet and Check-in Scan systems allows you to import useful information about your guests into the system to avoid entering it manually. With the integration you can import your properties, rooms, reservations, guest names, email addresses and phone numbers from Planet.
Go to the Planet website and log into your account with your credentials Here
We log in and enter the Planet control panel.
Now we need to send a request so they provide us with the credentials for the integration with Check-in Scan. To do this we will click on the menu button and look
for Check-in Scan within the Marketplace section.
We will wait for Planet to contact us to provide us with the credentials to carry out the integration and we will go to the Check-in Scan control panel.
In the upper right corner go to My Account / PMS
3. Find and click on the Planet icon
4. Paste the "PMS client ID" and "PMS client secret" you received from Planet into the corresponding fields:
5. Click Next
The system will give you the option to choose which properties you want to import from Planet and if you have already added them to Check-in Scan previously, you can also match them so they are linked together.
Once you have linked the properties, you just need to click on "Save and continue" to add the properties. And on "Finish" to complete the process.
Finally, you will need to go back to the top menu Properties - My Properties, activate the new properties and edit any fields that remain to be completed.
