Log in to your Check-in Scan account using the username and password associated with your account (https://app.checkinscan.com/client/login).
Once logged in, go to the "Properties" section and click Edit on the property where you want to add your manual lock.
In the "Locks" tab, you’ll find the "Add Manual Lock" button.
You can configure the access type of the lock according to your needs:
Public, when it is shared by all guests staying at the property (for example, access to the pool or gym).
Private, when it is restricted exclusively to the guests of a specific reservation (for example, access to a room or apartment).
In the access code field, you can enter the number combination you've set on the manual lock. You'll also need to give it a name to identify it easily and link it either to the entire property or to a specific room.
Once you have completed the previous step, your new lock will be added. There, you will find icons to customize the access code, edit the information you previously entered, or simply delete it.

You can set the door opening schedule, from what time the guest will be able to access the code information. Additionally, you have the option to configure automatic email notifications to the guest containing all the details related to the lock.
The guest will be able to access the codes through the same link used for check-in, once they have completed the registration and only within the time window you have set in the lock’s configuration.
For each reservation, you will be able to view the access codes that the guest will see.
