Each authority uses a different method to change the password.

In regards to the National Police, you should go to their data communication page http://webpol.policia.es/e-hotel/# and click on "¿Ha olvidado su contraseña?

Next, a window will open in which you will have to :

  1. Enter your username that was provided to you by the National Police. This username consists of 11 characters, some will be numbers and others capital letters.

  2. Copy a Captcha security code.

  3. Click on "Restaurar contraseña"

In a few minutes you will receive an email to your email address thats very similar to the example below. The email will go to the email address that you gave the National Police when they gave you your details and there is a 72 hour limit of use so open it as soon as possible!

You should click on the link that they gave you, and once there it will then give you the option of creating a new password.

By clicking on "Iniciar" you will then receive a second email of activation.

This email also has a time limit of use so click on the link and try to activate the account as soon as possible:

Once you have clicked on the link and used your username and new password once, your account will remain activated and your password saved!

Once you have successfully changed your password, you can return to your Check-in Scan property page and then modify it on our system so that you can continue doing your check-ins. Here we explain how.
